I just wanted to post a quick note here about some upcoming author events I’ll be at. If you’re in Maryland (or close to Maryland, or willing to make your way to Maryland), I’d love to see you.

I’ll be at the Towson Library on Sunday, August 28th (my birthday!), to celebrate Read A Romance Month with the Baltimore County Public Library and the Maryland Romance Writers. Fellow MRW authors Magda Alexander, Christi Barth, Stephanie Draven, Elodie Nowodazkij, and L. Penelope will join me to discuss why reading and writing romance is so darn great.

I’ll also be at the Baltimore Book Festival, an amazing festival spanning an entire weekend right in downtown Baltimore. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it – it’s basically filling downtown with as many readers as will fit and talking about books all weekend, which is a noble goal in my opinion. I’ll be on two panels – one on Friday, one on Sunday – and will also be staffing the MRW stage on Saturday.

My BBF panels:

  • Friday, 2 PM: Heroines Get Stuff Done
  • Sunday, 12 PM: Historical Romance – Kilt or No Kilt or Why Jamie Fraser Isn’t All There Is…

You can find the entire BBF schedule – including panels and events on the MRW stage AND on a lot of other cool organization’s stages (my friends at SFWA, for one!) right here.
