The title says it all. The release date for ‘Thieves’ Honor‘ is one week away. In one week, I’ll be an official author. It feels pretty official already, actually. The book is already available for pre-order on Amazon, and it’s up on Goodreads (and I just got an email from them saying that I’m a real live Goodreads Author now).
I’ve been spending my free time in the last few days sending requests to book review sites. A few have come back already, telling me that they need more advance notice, alas. When ‘Witch’s Stone‘ is finished and (hopefully) bought, I’m hoping to work with the publisher to make that happen. And, bonus, when Book 2 comes out is a great time to put Book 1 on sale! But that is all in the future. Hopefully the not too distant future – Duncan’s story is getting close to being done, but the release frenzy for Thomas and Em has taken over and put the poor Earl of Kilgoran on the back burner for a few days. He won’t mind. Westfield is his best friend, after all.
If you’ve pre-ordered ‘Thieves’ Honor‘ already, thank you! If you’re considering it, I hope you’ll do it! And if you’re inspired to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads (good, bad, or in between!), I’ll love you forever. (Unless you’re related to me. Because a) I’m already obligated to love you and b) Amazon will remove the review anyway.)
Through the kindness of various friends, I’ve got a massive spreadsheet of links and emails for sites that do book reviews – but I’m always looking for more. If you have a blog and want to review ‘Thieves’ Honor,’ or post an interview with me, or pretty much anything else, please get in touch!
In the meantime, I’ll be at the playground, trying to do as much as I can from my smartphone. Because it’s springtime weather in Maryland, and toddlers emphatically Do Not Care about Mommy’s book release. This Official Published Author had better keep the goldfish crackers and apple slices stocked if she knows what’s good for her.
